Bucketfoot Baseball Newsletter is an informal publication by two guys who run up huge
phone bills talking baseball.
The mission here at Bucketfoot is simple: we want to provide the Webs most unique look at all things baseball. Why have we created Bucketfoot? Simple, we are fans of the game who enjoy reading and talking about it, especially its past, whenever the opportunity presents itself. One of the greatest players ever to throw a guy out at the plate: Al "Bucketfoot" Simmons. So named for his unorthodox batting style. It was said that while at the plate he stood as though he had one foot in a bucket. |
